Learn to use your keyboard for faster control of Microsoft Windows and Internet Explorer.

Most Windows Programs

• Ctrl-S {Will save the current document.}
• Ctrl-O {Opens a new document.}
• Ctrl-Z {Undo the last thing you did.}
• Ctrl-Y {Undo the last undo.}
• Ctrl-A {Select the entire document.}
• Ctrl-X {Delete the selection and move it to the clipboard.}
• Ctrl-C {Copy the selection to the clipboard.}
• Ctrl-V {Paste the clipboard's contents into the current program.}
• Ctrl-P {Open the print dialog box.}
• Ctrl-I {Turn Italics on or off.}
• Ctrl-B {Turn Bold on or off.}
• Ctrl-U {Turn Underline on or off}
• Ctrl-F {Launch a programs search or find tool.}
• Ctrl-Home {Moves the cursor to the beginning of the document.}
• Ctrl-End {Moves the cursor to the end of the document.}
• Alt-Tab {Switch between open windows.}
• Alt-BackSpace {Undo the last thing you did.}

Internet Explorer Shortcuts

• Ctrl-D {Go to the address bar.}
• Ctrl-R {Refresh the current web page.}
• Ctrl-E {Show or hide the search bar.}
• Ctrl-F {Open the find dialog box.}
• Ctrl-H {Show or hide the History bar.}
• Ctrl-I {Show or hide the Favorites bar.}
• Ctrl-N {Open a new browser window.}
• Ctrl-O {Open the Open Dialog box to go to another web site.}
• Ctrl-L {Open the Open Dialog box to go to another web site.}
• Ctrl- {Refresh the current web page regardless of time-stamps.}
• Alt-Home {Go to your Home page.}
• F1 {Open the Help dialog box.}
• F3 {Open the find dialog box.}
• F4 {Show or hide the Address bar.}
• F5 {Refresh the current web page.}
• F11 {Toggle full-screen mode on or off.}
• Esc {Stop downloading a web page.}
